SUMMARY
For the 2014 World Cup, DishLATINO sought to own the passion of the fans by creating an archetypical persona for the Beautiful Game, the name for which soccer is known throughout Latin America. This archetypical persona took the form of a samba dancer, a recognizable icon from the tournaments host country, Brazil. By using their samba dancer, Juego Bonito, to demonstrate how DishLATINO makes the Beautiful Game even more beautiful by watching it through their DVR device, the Hopper, the campaign succeeded in increasing subscriptions +32% vs. the previous year.
