In late 2018, Vimeo announced a dramatic business pivot: they would go from a video viewing platform known and loved by tens of millions of artists, to a video-making toolset aimed at a broad range of creative professionals. Vimeo expected their first ever brand campaign to carry this perceptual freight. The Vimeo Can Help campaign set the brand up to win, crushing target goals, and positioning them as useful video tool (+ 37%), high tech (+158%), and boosting likelihood to recommend among their new target (+27%).
