SUMMARY
Last Christmas we gave the Scotch Finger a big role to play in one of the most enduring, and endearing, of Christmas rituals. The ‘Santa’s Biscuits’ campaign is a Sesame Street story with a Wall Street ending: we gave Santa the chance to leave half of his Scotch Finger biscuit on the Australia’s mantel piece as ‘proof of life’ for Children around Australia, and we increased sales of Arnott’s biscuits by a whopping 6% in the process.
Selling a sack full of biscuits is a great reward, but the real payback here is keeping the dream of Santa Claus alive in the hearts of a generation of Australian children.
