SUMMARY
Against a background of a category in crisis, our strategy brought Fanta back to the hearts and hands of teens.
Through a social-by-design campaign we gave them control over our marketing efforts, got them to campaign for our new flavors through co-creation; and even allowed them to decide which flavor would actually be launched into the market.
The campaign delivered a positive ROI by driving growth for Fanta in an overall category that declined 2% - beating the campaign’s ambitious volume growth target by a multiple of 12.
