SUMMARY
Launching the all-new BMW X2, a bold and sporty SUV coined the “rebel” of the BMW fleet, required the brand to break its own “luxury rules” and embrace a new, diverse millennial audience with the attitude and style to match. Collaborating with Grindr, BMW created the Zero Filter Awards, a live event celebration of LGBTQ community champions who rebelliously speak out without hesitation or apologies. Complemented via sound media strategy, the event honored four notable LGBTQ activists and was streamed globally from Los Angeles via digital and mobile platform extensions.
