SUMMARY
CFP thoroughly vets financial planners and advisors, to ensure theyre the highest standard of professionalism. But, research showed low consumer awareness of CFP certification, with consumers choosing financial advisors based on word of mouth or gut feeling. So, to prove the danger of this, we took a dreadlocked DJ with no financial knowledge, gave him a makeover and a crash course in finance, and then convinced some real people to trust him with their finances. Our experiment led to some hilarious results, and we exceeded our awareness goal by 20%.
