In 2012, SONIC Drive-In wasnt the fastest, cheapest or easiest fast-food option out there. Recession-wary Americans safeguarded their wallets, limiting restaurant options and meal costs. So during a time when America was looking for relief, SONIC reintroduced the Two Guysa classic comedy duo that provided, well, comedic relief. Over the course of four years, the campaign helped drive 25% growth in sales and a stock price that skyrocketed from $9 to $36 a share (at a 52-week high).
