In
2012, Foot Locker faced a new landscape. E-commerce had fundamentally changed
shoe buying. Boutique shops catered to Sneakerheads, and large competitor
brands were opening their own stores. This demanded a new business approach and
a new brand campaign.
This
is the story of that campaign: Approved. In the subsequent four years
marked by continuous retail disruption Approved drove four years of
year-on-year sales growth, increased brand equity, and helped double the stock
price.
