Skittles sweets are bought on impulse. So to arrest declining sales among light TV viewing young adults, Skittles needed to be more top-of-mind and more present in-store.
Our convention-breaking Give The Rainbow campaign transformed the trade relationship with the UK’s biggest retailer – delivering a new product collaboration, increased national distribution and an annual, sales-driving occasion unique to Skittles.
These long-term benefits had short-term impact. Our small budget created an uplift in sales value, volume and market share, a 142% ROMI, plus a huge show of support for Pride.
