After a few challenging years, Advil needed a timely way to regain relevance and boost sales. So in summer of 2022, the most painful travel season ever, Advil positioned itself to speak to a new kind of pain: “travel pain.” By showing an influx of ‘revenge travelers’ they could “Advil the Travel Pain Away,” Advil significantly boosted its sales and increased its brand relevance.
