SUMMARY

The Roy Lichtenstein exhibit set the high water mark record for daily attendance in 2012 - and Picasso soundly surpassed it. But more than breaking records our intent was to solve for AIC's populism problem amongst Chicagoans. What better way to galvanize a populist sentiment than to leverage the connection between a popular artist and his connection with a City he never visited? The language of design and the ask: GO PICASSO were central to engaging our iconic city with an iconoclast of modern art.
