SUMMARY
In 2015, Walmart gave customers unprecedented access to its vast assortment through the launch of Walmart Pickup and Delivery. This innovative new service made it possible for customers to order anything even groceries at Walmart.com and have it delivered to their home or available for pickup at their local Supercenter or Neighborhood Market for free. To introduce and guide customers through this new trip, Walmart designed an omnichannel experience and communications plan that raised awareness and streamlined the shopper experience.
