Mobile World Congress (MWC) is known for celebrating the hottest new mobile products, and most attendees don’t give the software that powers these devices a second thought. Instead they flock to the likes of Samsung’s VR roller-coasters or Google’s new voice assistants. But in 2018, IBM Mobile changed things up. To capture the attention of MWC 2018 attendees and drive growth, we broke the mold on product demos by launching 'Outage'. Our adrenaline pumping choose-your-own-adventure product experience placed the audience in the driver's seat and drove unprecedented business results.
