Package volume was stagnating, and perceptions of USPS’s reliability were at their lowest since 2018. Thus began 2020 for USPS. Then, financial, political, and health challenges piled on, dragging peoples’ confidence down even further. 2020’s prolonged quarantine robbed Americans of the connections that made us feel normal, forcing us to find connection wherever we could. So, we showed people packages weren’t just deliveries, they were connections. In doing so, we drove the biggest lift ever in perceptions of reliability, and got more people to ship than ever before.
