SUMMARY
The Hy-Vee Hometown Olympian program was crafted to resonate specifically with Hy-Vee’s customers by featuring regional “hometown hero” Karissa Schweizer to capture the “carts and minds” of its Midwestern shoppers. The 360-degree program showcased Schweizer in social media, weekly ads, digital executions, in-store displays, and more across the planned month of June and well into October – the first time Hy-Vee engaged with Mondelēz International on a program of this scale. The program attracted new shoppers and increased buy rate of existing shoppers with category sales.
