SUMMARY
In the early 2000s, Venus became iconic by selling a very specific standard of beauty – one size and one hairless skin type. But, over time, the world and the category changed. Not only did women want more, but Venus had competition capable of offering it without cultural baggage.
So, beginning in 2019, Venus evolved its outdated creative formula and adopted a new, progressive one. My Skin, My Way tells real women’s stories, battles bias again skin conditions, and embraces women’s right to groom (or not groom) as they please.
