December 2021 in Cleveland, OH COVID-19 Omicron cases were spiking, hospitalizations were at record levels, and Ohio governor Mark DeWine mobilized the Ohio National Guard to help relieve the hospital staffing strain. The caregivers, our superheroes of the pandemic, were exhausted, vulnerable, and needed help.
We had to reach and activate a divided community. We had to get our pandemic caregiver heroes the help they needed.
